Dr Ravinda Chandrasekera is a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry. Dr Chandrasekera has trained in both Australia and United Kingdom, and holds specialist qualifications in both countries.
Dr Chandrasekera’s Specialist qualifications include Fellowship of The Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and Membership of Royal College of Psychiatrists, London (MRCPsych). He completed his general medical training and obtained Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in Sri Lanka.
Dr Chandrasekera has experience as a consultant in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, Rehabilitation Psychiatry, Adult Psychiatry and Medico-Legal Report Writing. In addition to the above, he has experience in old-age psychiatry, psychotherapy, forensic psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and addictions. With sound breadth and depth of experience, Dr Chandrasekera is well-positioned, in assessing and treating conditions associated with neurodiversity, including ADHD, ASD, and their co-morbidities.
