Wise As An Owl, Crisp As An Apple

Studying can be a hard work.
Learning can be fun.
Education is rewarding.
How do I combined hard work, fun and reward?
How do I know I progress in my course?
How can I tell you chose the right subjects?
What if I am not always able to keep attention on one topic and get frequently distracted by my phone?
What if the only way for me to read a book is to run a bunch of other activities, like listenig to the music, playing computer game and texting friends?
My brain never stops and keeps me awake at night. So, I stay up, alone or with friends, party or play games…
Or try to study…

I also forget to eat… Can survive without food most of the day… It’s ok, I can catch up later at night, with a triple dinner or heaps of snacks. Does not matter. As long as I had some food, who cares I ate all three daily meals in one go. Or maybe, I did not? I forgot, actually. The main thing, I remember my homework.

Oh, wait, I think I have forgotten some stuff there too!

And I would really love to get fit. They say, learning is like training – have to practise every day… But it is soooo hard to make an effort!!

What if sometimes talking to the teachers or classmates feels difficult and awkward? Yet, I still would like to be part of the group, enjoy social company, chat about my favourite music or a show I want to watch…

Am I different? Do I have to try to become like everyone else? What is it like, to be like everyone else? Is it even a thing?

What can I do about it?

Learning is fun when you are on top of it and not the other way around.

Ok, well, I am sure there are many people out there – just like me, struggling to find their way in life. I will slowly learn how to put the right puzzles togehter and become the best of me. And I know, there are many solutions and ways, to transform my weak points into my strength. I know, I can achieve my goals and reach my peak performance in fitness, academia and life in general. Hard work will become fun and rewarding.
