Based on the Gold Coast, Stacey Savage is a dedicated psychologist and researcher with a passion for advancing mental health care through evidence-based practice and comprehensive neuropsychological assessments.
Stacey’s clinical expertise is informed by her extensive experience across public health, hospitals, and academic settings. She has worked with patients presenting with complex neurological and cognitive-communication challenges, including acquired brain injuries and other neurocognitive conditions. In addition, Stacey is a sessional academic at Griffith University, where she teaches psychology courses and mentors the next generation of clinicians.
Stacey holds a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours (First Class) and is completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She is a registered psychologist with AHPRA, an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and a member of the Australian Association for Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy (AACBT), the Queensland Dementia, Aging and Frailty Clinical Network (QDAF) and the Queensland Persistent Pain Clinical Network (QPPCN).
Her clinical and research interests include neuropsychological assessments, suicide prevention, and telehealth-delivered psychological interventions. Stacey is particularly passionate about applying neuropsychological tools to better understand and support individuals with cognitive, behavioural, and emotional challenges, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs.
Beyond her clinical and academic roles, Stacey has shared her research findings at national symposiums and workshops, contributing to advancements in mental health care practices. She is committed to integrating innovative approaches and the latest evidence into her work, ensuring compassionate and person-centred care for her patients.
