About

Dr Kumari is a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry. Her expertise in the field of psychiatry has been spanning over a period of 15 years. She attained her Master’s Degree in Psychiatry from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi India.

Dr Kumari has a special interest in ASD and ADHD. She had worked for a long time with children suffering from a variety of psychiatric disorders in India as well as in Singapore. In addition to that she has extensive experience with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychoses. She also has a good level of experience in old-age psychiatry and addictions.

Dr Kumari has been practising in Australia since 2018 and achieved her Fellowship at the Royal and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2022. She has been actively engaged in public psychiatry services and private practice after getting her fellowship. She now provides comprehensive assessment and management of a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including psychotic illnesses, mood disorders, adult ADHD, eating disorders, and anxiety disorders. Outside of clinical commitments, Dr Kumari is actively involved in formal teaching and supervision for psychiatric registrars.

Dr Kumari is going our group with a great contribution of working with all age groups, from childhood to the advanced age, working with a broad range of psychiatric needs and conditions.
